NJ/NY Gotham announce 2 new minority owners

NJ/NY Gotham FC announced Kristin Bernert and Karen Bryant because the latest minority owners of the NWSL crew. Bernert and Bryant be part of an ownership group that includes Tammy and Phil Murphy, Ed Nalbandian, and Steven Temares.

“Karen and Kristin are particularly reputable and established operators in ladies’s sports,” said Tammy Murphy, Majority Owner and Club Chair. 

“We labored with them ultimate season to decorate our commercial enterprise operations and I witnessed their passion, information, and leadership first-hand. It’s an honor to welcome them as proprietors and strategic advisors who will assist maintain the tremendous transformation of this club and league.”

The most recent participants are co-founders of KB2 Sports, a consulting firm centered on using funding and innovation in women’s sports activities.  The employer gives strategic guidance and collaboration with key stakeholders to become aware of and create transformative boom. 

“The time to double down on ladies’s sports is now,” said Bryant. 

“It’s a privilege to join Gotham FC’s ownership institution. These world-class athletes are social ambassadors, creators, and storytellers who deserve the equal publicity and funding their male counterparts receive. I’m excited to work with Tammy, Ed, and Kristin to help make that a fact.”

Bryant will function KB2 Sports’ Operating Partner with Gotham FC. She formerly served as General Manager for the Seattle Reign of the American Basketball League earlier than beginning a 15-year tenure with the WNBA’s Seattle Storm.

“I’m grateful for the possibility to spend money on those superb athletes and past excited to help construct this club’s destiny,” said Bernert.
